False rape accusations are rampant especially in this era of #MeToo. While I sympathize with victims we must all be careful.
First of all, the
alleged victim should file a case first. Because accusing someone in
public of a criminal act without evidence is LIBEL.
Second, if the evidence is sufficient that a case can be made, then more than anything else, the victim should be encouraged to file.
Third,
the accuser in this case is NOT EVEN the alleged victim herself. This
is ridiculous. You would drag a man through mud to satisfy some need to
feel "feminist"?
False rape accusations do happen. Majority of which is to cover up for infidelity or to
seek public attention. So up until that complaint is formalized, the
man has the right to seek a measure of redress against a disinterested
party who has been reckless about her right to free speech.
Also if these "victims" actually consulted a competent lawyer, they would have been advised not to breach the silence while a case is ongoing.
